Introducing Rescue Party, a game developed in just 48 hours during Global Game Jam Hong Kong. Up to 6 players can take part in this turn based twist on hidden object games. In Rescue Party, the goal is to use touch and sound to locate hidden survivors in a raging fire. Scan the region by dragging your super-powered directional microphone across the screen. When you near a survivor, you will begin to pick up their heartbeat. The louder the heartbeat becomes, the closer you are to location. There are multiple survivors hidden in the landscape and it is the player’s job to distinguish how many survivors are present before the rescue team can go in. Unfortunately, the local animals trying to escape are also very noisy which makes pinpointing survivors more challenging. Identify the number of survivors before the time is up!
Once each round is complete, the player will be able customize the location and type of 3 distracting noises before handing the game over to the next player. Foil the other rescue teams so they can’t have all the glory
